The Type 402 studs are used on very wet, muddy surfaces. Due to their size and geometry, with a coarse surface structure in an H-profile, slipping is prevented even in the most difficult ground conditions. Ideal for use in eventing for heavy, large horses or for extra grip in the rear horseshoes.
