The Type 306 studs are primarily used on a variety of grass surfaces, depending on the ground conditions. At 22 mm, they are one of the longest turf studs in the range and are suitable for tall, soft or wet grass, as well as for particularly heavy horses. Thanks to their pointed conical shape and special geometry, they penetrate the ground easily and provide excellent grip on rough terrain. The carbide pin significantly reduces wear when walking on asphalt or stone, thus increasing the stud’s durability.
For this stud we recommend using it in the rear horseshoe on both sides or only in the outer threaded hole in combination with shorter studs (e.g. type 205 or 305) in the front horseshoes.
